We found a roach in our room the first day. I caught the roach and put it in a cup and brought it to the front desk. Sara the front counter person took the cup and offered us another room. She stated her manager was not there at the time but she would let her know. We decided to not stay the 2nd night and cut our trip short. We had driven from ca to az for a weekend get away. The manager only gave us 20% off our room. I felt that she should have compensated us for the entire price of the one night. Needless to say I will not be staying at another Days Inn for a while.

Front desk personnel was friendly and reservation was quickly taken care of at late evening arrival.

The location was excellent for Scottsdale. Easy access in and out and very close to Fashion Square mall.

Breakfast was fairly decent
Lack of staff on site when there is a problem. eg we were locked out of our room and we had to break the bolt ourselves as there was no maintenace or management staff available - only receptionists. The pool bar was not open, again lack of staff.
